About Babai Resort

If you are looking for a comfortable accommodation, serene and high standard place to stay while at Bardia, look no further - Babai Resort is the ideal choice! It is well-situated nearby the entrance of the park entry gate and a branch of river Karnali; with the jungle just across the road and an elephant stable in only about 15 min. walking distance. 

The resort itself contains 41 double and triple cozy, furnished rooms with attached bathroom (some also have a bathtub), fan, wifi and beautiful interior design. All the doors and windows have mosquito screens and each bed has even a net for extra protection. Hot water is available 24 hours thanks to our combined system of solar and electric heaters. 

In the center of the property you'll find a great swimming pool, which is divided into two areas, so also your children can safely play in shallow water. Sunbeds and chairs are provided all around; also on shady verandas in front of each room, which are just perfect for relaxing. Moreover, the resort runs little spa where you can enjoy your time in sauna or have a professional massage. 

For refreshments, dining and social time there are both a bright cafebar and a spacious restaurant with wide, international menu. We are proud to announce that most of the fruits and vegetables we use are grown locally and organically. And if you organize a seminar or a workshop, we can offer you our conference hall that can accommodate around 100 people (??). 

We have also built several thatched shelters in the garden area, if you wish to sit outside while reading book or having your meal. And if you'd like to sit around the fire or do a barbecue, we can arrange it there too.
